Wide is better!

A great series for it's time, it is still great today and actually looks good wide. The show was shot with enough relief in the original picture to look presentable in widescreen without visual crowding. A fun show that will remain enjoyable for generations to come.

Thank God It's Friday: 40th anniversary edition is a nostalgic winner!

The high definition transfer from the film elements is spot on and is exceedingly reminiscent of it's original presentation in 1978. The audio quality is good but lacking in loudness with the music at times which perhaps originates in the 70's mix. A remix before the blu-ray's release would have been welcome.
