Is the Aomais Go any good?

I bought this for my son and his wife so they could enjoy streamed music etc ot on the deck, or in the jacuzzi. I read previous reviews before "taking the plunge". At the price, I was skeptical about volume, bass, range and especially the waterproof claim. It arrived well packed with a small charger & micro usb connector lead. Out of the box, it powered up as soon as the button was pressed, and pairing with iPhones was immediate. Volume level was more than ample even for a fairly loud party. Unlike any other more compact speakers the design features a sturdy carrying handle and the casing seems quite robust. Bass response is surprisingly good and (to my old ears) range is good up into the higher frequencies. Is my son and family happy with this speaker? A resounding yes !

It's easy to silver solder !

I've tried a couple of home made fluxes (borax etc) and several commercial products. All have worked to a greater or lesser degree but we're all problematic when attempting to weld up my bandsaw blades - especially the 1" ones. (joints would often fail after a fairly short period of use) Since buying this product it's been a much easier process and as yet - no failures ! Now, when a blade fails it's from fatigue at another point. A good product at a reasonable price.
