Upgrading from Office 2003 to Office 2010

Very easy to install. Works exactly as described. I am used to Office 2003 and stuff I know how to do in Excel 2003 are not as easy in Excel 2010 because Microsoft added all sorts of extra stuff to stay competitive (I think). MS Word is easier to use, it's more visually oriented. I will figure out stuff with Excel. MS Word 2010 is easier then MS Word 2003. A good purchase!

Biochemistry

I have a degree in biochemistry and wanted to see what books there were since I graduated (1989). The book I used in my undergraduate studies was cutting edge at the time, but had some sizable gaps. For instance; they go on at length about the organization and 'structure' of the eukaryotic cell wall and mention (at the end of the chapter) there is an interesting 'theory' that eukaryotic cells have membranes rather then cell walls. PCR had not been discovered and so on. This book is an excellent guide to current knowledge of nucleic acids and their structure, cell organization and compartmentalization , DNA and RNA amplification, protein purification techniques, protein and ribosomal structures etc.. There is so much more. The book weighs a lot because the authors go into depth. n excellent, well written book.
