Kingsolver's prose and story telling at its best.
I had already owned a copy of "Pigs in Heaven" but I must have loaned it to a friend, so I purchased the new copy to replace it. It is a sequel to "The Bean Trees", both are excellent but I like the sequel more. It is a must read for anyone who treasures humanity and the kindness of strangers.

Should have mentioned Kursk

A review of the contents described the entire history of the Red Army from its beginnings and did not get to Operation Citidel until half way through the book. Not a bad thing, but l thought of it as padding. A good addition to my library shelf.

HIGH QUALITY BIKING GUIDE
I am preparing for a long distance bike ride in the West Counties and this guide book is very helpful. It also contains many excellent photos of the region taken with a discerning eye for scenic imagery.
