Great Value on a Wonderful TV
The unit arrived exactly when expected and was well packaged (padded box inside of a padded box). Installation was easy as it used the same bolt sizes and pattern as our old set. Set up was ok, taking a bit of study but reasonable, given the wealth of features. Picture and sound are fantastic.

OK Unit With Problems
1 of 1 found this helpful This unit is inexpensive and easy to install. There are a few problems, though: (1) The guides at each end are a cheap plastic. It breaks and ruins the whole unit. They only last 6 months or so. I've had to replace the regulator several times. (2) The power cable connector plug is slightly larger than the factory receptacle so I end up having to cut it off each time and solder the old plug onto the new cable.

Factory-Refurbished Units Look Brand New and Work Perfectly!
I bought two of these actually, as I have two part-time residences. One has Comcast and I got tired of paying the modem rental fee and wanted to get a DOCSIS 3.0 modem to take advantage of the recent upgrade by Comcast. The other I bought because I was tired of having AT&T DSL with it's incredibly slow speeds and frequentloss of signal.
Both installed very easily using the Comcast tool that popped up on my PC. To link it to my wireless router, however was a little more work. I ended up finding and Internet posting that suggested mapping the MAC address of the PC to the modem within the modem utility program. Worked like a charm!
The local Comcast signal was recently upgraded from 25 Mbps max to 50 Mbps max. With my old modem, the internet download speed would range between 7 and 15, with an occasional speed in the low-20's.. Now I consistently see well over 20, even using wireless. Even my iPhone is over 20 which is something I never experienced before. Besides my Windows PC I also have an older Mac computer. One strange anomaly is that when I hardwire my Mac to this modem, I sometimes see speeds of over 110 Mbps, which I'm not even supposed to get with my plan!
All-in-all a GREAT modem, that won't be outdated next week. These factory refurbished units looked brand new (original box and accessories) at about half the cost of new!!
