One of the best Michener book ever
1 of 1 found this helpful A well researched historical novel that gives a vivid picture of the history of the Chesapeake Bay over the centuries. Have read the book twice already and bought this copy because I gave my last book to a friend to read. Museums in the Chesapeake Bay such as in St. Michaels and Solomons Island reflect the history described by Michener.
