Not what I expected
The pictures on the inside were all black and white, and some were duplicates. A few were reproduced very poorly, with noticeable pixilation. Not the quality I expected from a fine-art publication. Only the cover photo and a very few others were worthy of that description.

Great source of model railroading info and techniques!
This is a splendid compilation of model railroading information in all scales, with guidance for beginners through more advanced modelers, with a focus on the Bachmann E-Z Track system, in which I have invested a fair amount already. Best for modelers who aren't that interested in fussing with track and wiring, and are more interested in running trains! The information is well-organized into various categories such as layouts, scenery, powered and unpowered rolling stock, etc., and is very clearly and lucidly set forth. A great value for the money if you are seriously interested in learning about this great hobby, particularly if you already own a Bachmann starter set or other Bachmann track and equipment, and wish to expand it.

Excellent guide to all aspects of model railroading
This is a very thorough and yet accessible guide to all the major aspects of model railroading (regardless of scale), suitable both for beginners and as a reference and refresher for more advanced modelers. Highly recommended!
