Specific use ONLY

From Arris documentation: "The U-verse Wireless Access Point operates only with authorized U-verse Wireless Receiver(s)." There is no easy user access to restore the original firmware, this AP appears to be locked by ATT. Username & password will get you in but changes (IP, settings, etc.) don't survive a power cycle, returns to ATT defaults. That's why it's $9.

Works Great

Perfect for retrieving data from 2.5" drives when your laptop dies from Video chip overheat or any catastrophic motherboard failure. I bought one, gave it away to someone who needed to read a drive then bought another for my use. USB 3.0 seems to power the drive with just the blue plug, USB 2 needs both plugs, one for data, one for power.
