Ideal for Copying from an External Device.
No manual but easy to use because I've owned one before. You can copy, but only in standard definition via scart from external device (e.g. SKY HD Box), edit, remove adverts and transfer to DVD Disc. Unfortunately, up-to-date models won't do this.

Panasonic DVD Recorder
Bought as a replacement. Unfortunately Panasonic (and just about everyone else) don't make machines with scart input or output anymore so the only DVD Recorder I could find to fit my requirements i.e. copy to DVD hard drive from SKY box.
