Would Buy It Again!

I already had one of these dryers, purchased over 23 years ago. Traveled with me everywhere. When the old one started to hiccup, I decided to buy a replacement as backup. Was an easy fix, just shortened the power cord 4 inches and re-soldered the connections. But having another to eventually replace it with brings peace of mind.

Good value, but do your own due diligence to ensure longevity of the power valve.

Vehicle won't run without one, and this one is the correct calibration for the vehicle. Gasket is of good quality, but still needs the edges sealed with Permatex Motor Sports gasket sealant that is impervious to fuel and seals against vacuum leaks. Two coats of the Permatex is recommended by several carb rebuilders. I didn't do this with the first one I bought from the seller and of course the gasket leaked fuel and ruined the power valve diaphragm. Live and learn.
