good for the $
1 of 1 found this helpful I just wanted an inexpensive rig to take along on road trips with the RV. This is it. The receiver is a bit scratchy and not the best. It is putting out about 4 watts off a 1/4 wave mag mount antenna. SWR was less than 1.3 to 1. Not bad at all. Haven't had a chance to hear a transmission from it yet.
