Essential Tool
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a required tool by Kohler in order to do warranty work on their engines. Crankcase vacuum needs to be a minimum of 4" H2O on a healthy engine. The problem is that 99% of all vacuum gauges read in inches of MERCURY (Hg). You can't get an accurate crankcase vacuum reading using a Hg gauge. MSRP on this tool is around $200 from a Kohler Dealer. This is a great price on an essential tool for a small engine mechanic (Briggs part #19495) and it comes with the dipstick plug that makes it that much easier and quicker to use than a water manometer.

Great Muffler
Exact fit for a 7000 Series Kohler. Engine is unbelievably quiet. Upgraded engine and upgraded exhaust. Couldn't be happier with results
