Very simple and effective design

I had one in the seventies. It got lost to the ages. I was delighted to find it again. This one is better in that it has a rubber coating to protect your bike paint. I wrapped my old one in athletic tape. Very simple and effective design. Like seeing an old friend again.

If you need finer detail, you need to go to a larger scale.

The detail is as good as can be expected for a 1/144 scale model. If you are looking for a fine detailed model, you need to get a larger scale. This serves my purpose. My goal is to hang several of them from my warroom ceiling as if to be flying in formation. For that reason, this model fits my needs.

A Throwback from the 60's

These monster models were popular when I was a kid in the sixties. I'm guessing the 1999 label indicates re release. They are a bit pricey for a second edition. Supply and demand. I was happy find one and to buy it for my brother in law's birthday. It's very nostalgic.
