Almost a great notion
As a German American, with a family history of extraordinarily difficult beards, I came to make this purchase, knowing that there was every likelihood of disappointment. Overall, I am impressed, the new mechanics DO work, but the built-in safety features, while good for the skin, mean that while I can get a pretty good shave, the effects only last a few hours. Still, it is an improvement over my previous Braun (series 5), and much better than anybody else's electric.

Purple Reign!
My only quibble is, I DID ask for a change, to black, after my initial request for purple was sent. I got purple, but it is of sufficient quality, that I am not upset.

simply the best
I discovered the Dumont's lotions, thirty years ago, and have never found anything remotely as good, at any price. The heavy duty night cream may be thick, but it is elegant, and very effective.
