Grandma's always cold
Quality, value, and recommendations of "yes" above are somewhat guarded. My Mom uses it more as a "throw" or blanket over her legs than as a shawl. The pockets are small and the pockets themselves have no heating element in them so she does not put her hands in them. I think it was likely a good value for the price since I got it slightly used. The low temp setting hardly feels warm even but the medium and high help her. I think for someone younger than my 90 yr old mother and more nimble, they might enjoy using it as a shawl as intended. My Mom cannot get or keep it in position as a shawl but it works for her as a throw.

My first impressions
First time ordering this. Though seems a little pricey, I like the "creaminess, the feel" of it and a little seems to go a long way, so, in that sense, maybe not so pricey. It is quite subtle, brightens just a little, but I think that is probably best for my "mature" eyelids.

I carry it to check my Mom's batteries about every other day as she has some dementia and has problems managing them. This is the 2nd one I have purchased as the first quit working after maybe 9 months. I purchased a 1 yr warranty this time. The actual testing is easy to do.
