Not much improvement.
1 of 3 found this helpful I bought this to replace the short “rubber duck” antenna on my Midland 75-822 portable CB radio. I did an admittedly rough comparison between the two antennas by transmitting with both antennas and monitoring the S- meter readings on a nearby shortwave radio. The Rdant antenna was maybe a little better, but not much.

Good product
A bit troublesome to install, but fit perfectly in my 55SW.

Works. Decent value. Case came apart, had to tape it together.
2 of 2 found this helpful I have a WD 2TB external drive with USB2 (mini connector), FireWire and SATA parts. The USB jack wont hold a plug securely, so I tried this adapter to use a USB3 connection to a new laptop. It works, i get transfer speeds similar to native USB3 port on another drive. (About 100 MB/sec, using a multi port USB hub). The plastic case was unsecure, had to use a piece of tape to hold it together. I do notice I have to power down and power back up the connection by unplugging/plugging from the USB hub I'm using in order to get the computer to recognize the drive after a power-up. Don't know if this is typical.
