Bob is a retired maintenace worker in metal fabrication. Like many mid-westerners, likes to harvest and eat black walnuts. Needed a nutcracker that could crack very hard shelled nut, so I designed my own. Liked it so well I am making and selling them.

    I received my nutcracker today. I immediately installed it on a 2x6 board that I could use on a table top. I clamped it down with c-clamps and it works great! The only downside is that it's a little bit addicting. I found that I couldn't stop myself once I got going. 50 nuts down. Thousands to go! Its design is simple and extremely well made. I love the fact that it's an effective black walnut cracker at a reasonable price! Thanks for the quick turnaround.
