Teale trades suburbia for a rural CT farm
Love, Love all of Teale's books! This is my favorite! A look back to a not so long ago time of Teale's life on his farm in Hampton, Connecticut. Travel the paths with him on his farm and feel a peaceful, familiar feeling as you learn about the natural species and terrain he was blessed to live with. The book has several picture sections to put a visual to his writing. Go visit the place now, as it is an Audubon Society Preserve and connect with the places he writes about.

Children with a past larger and darker than most lives
I couldn't put it down! A mystery and fictional account of the disturbing story of the real life Tennessee Children's home Society, and the kidnapping and illegal adoptions that occurred there during the first half of the 20th century.

Clears up some of the TI-84 terror
Very good intro plus more book to get going with this complex and perplexing calculator, which is always pushed on students from high school to college.
