A good alternative to mercury heat pump thermostat

There aren't many thermostats that are designed to work with a heat pump, but this one does very well. Generally it doesn't pay to set the temperature back when gone and then try to return to normal when home. This is because the booster/auxiliary heat has to come on to catch up to the higher setting. Booster heat is expensive, so burns up all the saving you gained by setting the temperature back. This thermostat begins raising the temperature an hour before the set time, and locks out the booster heat so only the heat pump runs. It also allows you to set the differential. A mercury thermostat generally has a 3 degree swing, where this can be adjusted down to 2 degree swing for a more consistent "feel". I also like being able to have a different program for each day.

Holster fell apart

First time I tried to use, the holster clip came right off. The "carbon fiber" sticker wasn't on straight. Piece of junk.

Paired with K&N filter in oem box. Ran filter upgrade alone... more growl maybe tiny improvements in mpg? Added airaid mit and noticed immediate improvement in throttle response. No more hesitation at launch even with traction control on.
