A rare speedster!
The Saucony Kinvara 13 is one of the few low drop, lower stack shoes, which is excellent for faster paces, and is a perfect practice shoe for track mid distance runners and sprinters. The new Saucony Convergence will have this same midsole, as the Kinvara 14 gets a bit thicker.

Superb fast track practice shoe!
The Avanti is made for long distance track races, but I have used it for something different, and it is outstanding. I am a sprinter and use it for fast track practice intervals. It saves your legs while emulating the low drop spikes you will use on meet day.

You can be creative with these babies!
I use these excellent insoles differently than most, as I have very narrow feet and need a "drop" of 4mm or less in my interval shoes. By cutting the insoles in half and placing them under the regular insoles, I now have the perfect fit, and drop, for my sprint workouts! My Boston 12 from Adidas is now a 4m drop and nice and snug in the forefoot. Obviously this would not work for those with a wide or voluminous foot.
