Perhaps I am "spoiled" by always using wood toilet seats, so that plastic is unsatisfactory. Slow close does not work out of the box, but will keep.

Exactly as described! Works with specified sound bar with no hassle! Put the batteries in and go! Hint: If your remote suddenly stops working, unplug the sound bar wait for about 10 seconds, plug in and then try your current remote. The Vizio website has posted firmware updates to address the issue of the remotes suddenly stop working. You'll need an USB to transfer the update to your sound bar. Search Vizio S3821w C0 and S3820w C0 Remote Firmware Update.
