Versatile
It writes on many surfaces that other markers fail to do. Fine point means you can actually read what you write. Great marking pen.

Adequate protection.
The case is slim, and angled so as not to be bulky or clumsy. Good fit, easy to install. It's a 2 layer case that doesn't feel like a 2 layer. It definitely helps with the incredibly slippery finish of the phone. As far as drop protection, anything is a plus, but I wouldn't risk being careless with this installed as it's not particularly thick.

Effective.
Getting a case, in the case of the LG G8, is extremely important. This phone is incredibly slippery- it slides across wooden tables on it's own, without ringing, if the table happens to be the slightest bit off level. This case has rubber ribs that hold it in place securely. It isn't bulky at all, so it fits in just about any pocket. It has a matte finish so the fingerprints don't show, which is always nice.
