good replacement for Canon 60D lcd
I have no complaints about this replacement LCD. Installation was quick and intuitive without instruction. Color seems to be same quality as the original. No blemishes, dead pixels or scan lines.

Does not work inline; female thread is too shallow
This filter holder does not engage M48 male threads as intended. The female thread depth is only 0.5 mm deep, not even a full thread. M48x0.75 thread needs at least 1.5 mm. I tried reseating the filter and tightening the retaining ring, to no avail. The glass must be too thick for this holder. It’s possible that the glass thickness is not well controlled and mine is exceptionally thick, so other assemblies may be fine.
The male side is fine. It threads into the front of my field flattener which recesses into the 2” focuser on my refractor. But without both male and female threads, it doesn’t work for my SCT. I have the right adapters but the female side of this filter holder is not usable.

TTL serial, not RS232
This outputs TTL serial (5V), not RS232 (12V). It will work with some serial devices which allow either TTL or RS232, but will not work with devices which strictly require RS232. Seems like a rugged enough adapter that it would hold up well enough, if it meets your needs. However it uses the CH340 usb-ttl serial chip which is notorious for being unreliable, particularly in Windows 10. Mine cut out after 10 minutes and needed to be unplugged from USB to get the port working again.
