Just plug in.
I had to replace the lamp 4 times. 2 of those were lamps came without the casing. This one came with the casing and it makes it so much easier to replace. I don't need to take apart the existing casing to put a new lamp in. Once it was plugged in, it worked. Picture was bright again.

Ball gets stuck often.
This product is fun and does its things well except ... balls can get stuck. When it happens, the product is useless. I had to take all the balls out and reload them which is a bummer. It is either a bad quality item or a poor design. Either way, b/c of that, I cannot recommend this item to others.

Worked great ...
Bought these to punch bottom holes on ceramic tops. They worked great! Be warned that if you are drilling ceramic pots for the 1st time, it needs a bit of technique. Watch the relevant Youtube videos on how to use drills like these to punch hole on ceramic pots. Otherwise, you may end up blaming the drill bits. The technique applies to all such drill bits. If done right, the end result is a professional looking round holes.
I've got my money's worth on a few times I've used the bits. So, don't try to punch holes with hammers,, etc. You will more than likely ruin pots, and even if it worked, the holes going to look ugly.
