Always a need for one.

Any 'do-it-yourselfer' needs a kit like this. I have used several of these type pieces and they do the job. More than once you will find yourself or a friend in need of an item in this kit. Always good to have around.

Is it worth the 'hoopla'.

For years I've used a small phenolic block that I had lying around. I drilled some various size holes in it and it did the job for the most part. I have seen this 'bench block' around for a few years so I decided to try it out. It does offer some advantages over my home made block but the verdict is still out on whether or not it is worth the money. If you didn't have anything to begin with, then this is the way to go. But for now, I find myself using both blocks.

Always useful.

Unless you do full time electrical type work, you will probably never use all of these different connectors. But, when you do find yourself in 'that' situation, you'll be glad you had this kit.
