2021 GMC AT4 Amp steps
I Love my Amp power steps. This is the second set I've owned for my vehicles and while others may cost less, the ease of installation, fit and finish is hard to beat. The only hick up I experienced installing these on my 21 GMC AT4, was that the location of the rear motorized mounts when assembled looked and worked fine when compete, however I began to hear a clunking sound when driving. I checked the steps and they were solid, not loose. Further inspection revealed when the steps were retracted, they were hitting angle iron cab mounts that extended from the top to the bottom of the frame which was not noticeable during install since they steps were extended during mounting . I just used a large adjustable wrench and rolled the angle iron back and problem solved. This is not an issue with the steps, just an FYI for 19-21 GM crew cab installs.
