A Good Night's Sleep in the Wild
After using a self-inflating foam sleeping pad for years, I decide to try a modern air mattress. After looking around and being shocked by the price of some of them I decided to try the Klymit Insulated Static V. It had gotten many good reviews and the price was perfect. After receiving the mattress I embarked on a three-week bike tour in the Canadian Rockies. I can honestly say that I got some of the best sleep ever using the Static V. For me, ten to twelve puffs was all it took to inflate the bag. It is quiet to sleep on -- some of the high end mattresses sound like tin foil, even in the next tent. Plus, I'm a stomach and side sleeper. I used to "bottom out" on the foam pad when sleeping on my side. This just didn't happen with the Static V. Also, the insulation was welcome since temperatures got down low enough that my 30 degree down bag was nice and cozy.
I does lose a little air overnight, but I never woke up to a flat mattress. And, it is a little hard to roll up the mattress inside the tent. Overall, though, this is a great, compact, comfortable air mattress. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my wife.

Good alternative to GSC10
This is an ANT+ sensor that works beautifully with my Garmin 500 and 810. It is not Bluetooth, but neither is the GSC10. The Motorola looks identical to the Wahoo sensor, but without the Bluetooth. The wheel magnet is pretty much like most other wheel magnets but didn't fit on my aero spokes. The crankarm magnet needs no zip ties to install; it slips over the end of the crank after the pedal is removed.
Why pay inflated prices for the now discontinued GSC10 when you can buy one of these for a fraction of the cost.

Really good tires, especially in the snow.
I just needed a replacement tire. I've had these tires on two different cars. They are quiet and have great traction. Really good in the snow -- not winter tires, but they perform well. The set I had on my Forester went 50K miles.
