Last resort

We bought this as a last resort to fix our plugged print head and it worked perfectly out of the box. Printer recognized it right away and it automatically self aligned as well. This took our printer back to new standards for us. It’s an OEM part, which makes it more spendy than would have liked to pay, but we have tried using aftermarket products in the past with no good or lasting results. Thought about replacing printer with a laser printer, but research says color quality is better with an ink jet. We’ve had our Officejet Pro 8610 for about 5 to 6-ish years now and it’s been the best printer we’ve ever had. It’s good to have quality parts available to keep it going.
