2 of 2 found this helpful my 2005 goldwing has its original wind shield- over the years it had become scratched,etc-- the other night i riding and man what a mess-- did not relize screen was that bad-- anyway awhile back i started researching my new wind shield-- rave reviews about this item, how it made the wind different-- i rode today-- hey if you want an easy install this is the one-- i had one problem -- looking at the front-- the left hole did not match up-- about a 1/4 " to the right-- i did some wiggling and got it to mount up-- real hard to move move up and down-- i did one thing that works great- i used the soft side of velcro instead of the "rubberized" tape-- much better fit-- now the screen looks great and it is claimed that it is 2" taller-- it is taller but the angle of the screen take away from the height that i need-- advertised to help my bride out with wind, not really-- did not help much if any-- not the product is good and clear and i do not have that flimsey wind shield any more , some people are crazy about it-- well i am not-- to do what i wanted i should have just invested in a taller stock screen-- did not reduce the wind noise-- good luck -- now just because i am not just going nuts does not mean that the screen is bad-- with the screen all the up did not reduce wind-- but man it is better than what i had--
