Poor-fitting hot shoe covers — too small

I have read similar complaints regarding the same or similar covers. I tried these on several different cameras of mine, and these are too small for them all. I had to wind a fair amount of 1/2” gaffers tape around the middle of each cover — 3 layers — to get them to fit snugly in my camera hot shoes. These will now work fine, but I won’t buy again. I have no confidence that other sellers/brands won’t be exactly the same, however.
