Important thesis that deserves attention from all interested in politics, especially "progressives" and liberal Democrats.
The book made an important and well reasoned argument. For such a small volume it did become a bit heavy to read. But the quality and the boldness of the argument outweighed any considerations related to readability. But then again, it was not supposed to be light summer reading.

Learned Something New
It is a wonderful digest of an era of graphic design that is unappreciated.
To we, the unenlightened, this book breaks many preconceptions and misconceptions have regarding Japanese graphic design.
