lighweight with great features but not happy with part apparently broken. better care of preparing before shipping needs to happen

I do like this laptop a lot. I have found tho that a section of the back panel that clips to the laptop appears to be broken and when I open or close the lid it make a pop sound. I understand these clips are supposed to snap back together but apparently, they are broken as they do not stay clipped together. I've already copied all data from the old laptop to this new one. I really don't want to have to reset laptop to return and reinstall/download all the data again to a new one. It is tons of gb of data. Other wise it is a very nice laptop. Better care in preparing and shipping laptop should be taken.
