They were silver-plated, and a bit more tarnished than expected per the pictures supplied, but nothing that I couldn't polish out, so all's good. I didn't expect every little bit of tarnish to show in photos or every angle of them to be shot, so overall the description was a fair representation of their condition, especially knowing they are over 15 years old. So I would definitely trust/buy from this seller again.
