Inspiring story of commitment and perseverance
The story is engaging even if you know the ending. The background information in the 2nd disc about casting the hockey players is fascinating. This is a story to watch if you're feeling down and like to see miracle endings that people have worked beyond their limits to accomplish.

The tapestry of characters works well together
The supporting characters, each interesting in their own way, make this story work. I only purchase movies I want to watch again .... and then again after time passes. Each time I watch this movie, I find the contrast of supporting characters more interesting, contributing more to my overall enjoyment. We know from the start where this will end, but the interactions of the whole cast make this a movie I will watch again.
