Balls out deluxe at the price point. Perfect set up once tuned.
Arrived with both Tremolo springs unattached. Connected springs put back plate back on tune it up. PERFECT ! Set up. Could Trem up or down. Stayed in tune pretty good. Stretched the strings, re-tun. Play use wiggle stick a little. Check tuning, great. Set up was spot on very low to the frets, no buzzing anywhere on the neck. Cosmetically it's a very good looking guitar, balance is really good when standing, no neck dip like you get on a SG.
Love the burnt maple neck. Always wanted a set neck with maple neck & fret board but didn't want a bolt on neck. This Like what I've been looking for, for years. Little disappointed in the 5-ish piece neck. 1 piece was the maple fretboard, 3 pieces vertically glued then a couple small pieces of wood on each side of the headstock. However play feel action stability all seem spot on as well. No sharp edges on frets. Trem works great. I only use a little trem and stays in tune for days. Seriously. Great Weight. Like the 10" radius and 25" scale length. I'm used to the "G" work slim tapered 60's neck. This one comes real close so easy transition to a "G". model guitar. Can't think of anything (except multi piece neck) that I don't like. And feel neck will be very stable for years. Extra pieces may well turn out to be better with age. Also like the gloss finish on whole guitar. I would replace if lost.
