Will not work on third gen Camaro or firebird
I bought this for my third gen firebird with a 355 sbc with an electric water pump. Because the the steering is so far forward on the third gen it interferes with the steering components. I tried to modify it to pivot it up enough to clear the steering components and it would not work because the alternator was hitting the block. I imagine it would work great on an early Chevelle or nova even an early comaro but I does not work for a third gen. The product seems to be of good quality.
