More like a short story

I enjoyed the book, excellent idea, but was rather brief. I felt the author missed opportunities to ‘pad out’ the text and make his characters a little more convincing. The plot lacked depth and consequently was more like a short story. I read it in its entirety on a train journey to London from Herne Bay.
