Lightweight, A robust build, has great staying power, and casts the perfect light.
An outstanding headlight that has the right amount of light to cast a close-to-perfect beam of light for what's in front of you and to your front right and left. Simple in operation, built to be incredibly sturdy, and not too heavy on the head. It uses CR123A batteries which I prefer and I buy Surefire as they are far more reliable than the cheap brands. Simple light adjustment that can be used instinctively. I have had dozens of headlights in my career that worked well for a time, to fail you when you needed them. I trust this light and have concrete trust in the Surefire brand, having used their products for decades. The several flashlights I bought from this company over decades as a US Law Enforcement Park Ranger in Petrified Forest, Death Valley, and Saguaro National Parks are still going strong. As time passed, and technologies advanced, this company is still at the leading edge and built in the USA. I am delighted with the purchase, and I keep it with me at all times in my go bag.
