Satisfactory, If Not Perfect, Formula 1 Model Car
2 of 2 found this helpful This is the usual Minichamps model casting from their Formula One line-up. This particularly casting is made of die-cast metal with plastic and rubber (particularly, the tires) components. Accuracy is top notch with faithful replication of the design of the car's shape and most importantly, aerodynamic package.
As a model though, the famous Red Bull Energy Drink's sponsorship livery, in my honest opinion, is this model car's very asset. I can say 50 percent of my interest on this model was the look of this car's branding marks . The other 50 percent, was based on a variety of reasons (i.e. The car with the most aerodynamic downforce in the history of Formula 1, blown diffuser, Adrian Newey, Sebastian Vettel, World Champion, etc.)
The base coat of the car, which is dark blue, has a nice glossy finish to it. Carbon fiber weave is apparent on a lot of areas such as the diffuser, suspension arms, and on the unpainted areas of its aerodynamic appendages. It is interesting to note that a huge portion of the floor's carbon fiber has a checkered pattern weave. The real car has it, and so does this model and it was done perfectly.
This specific model was based on the configuration of the car used by driver Sebastian Vettel in the 2010 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Having cross referenced the car with pictures from the said race event, so far, the car is above satisfactory when it comes to execution. A few parts or objects may still be missing, but the major components were well considered. Even the controversial blown diffuser, which meant the positioning of the exhaust tip to the benefit of the system, is there too.
Unfortunately, 2009 also saw a bad season for Minichamps when it comes to the manufacture of their F1 model car line-up. Since new model car tooling had to be made, certain copies of the model have suffered defects. My particular copy had an unsightly smeared letter "N" on the Bridgestone front left tire marking. It shouldn't be much of an issue or nitpicking to some, but since "sponsorship" logos are everything to me in a race car, it is quite a bother. Others may actually agree on my line of thought. Other collectors even complained of misaligned front and rear wings. Moreso, there have been complaints for badly applied water slide decals. And speaking of decals, do know that underneath the area where engine cover is, is also a massive casting line which is concealed by the large "charging bull" decal. Unfortunately, this area seems to have begun crumpling and I fear that it will only get worse over time.
The product is NOT A TOY and therefore, I cannot respond with a ''yes'' when EBay review page asked ''is it durable''. This is a model car for serious collectors and well discerned young adults and I would seriously abide by those considering you pay a premium for these miniature pieces of automotive art. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this model to anyone who loves the hobby of die-cast car collecting, specially if you are into the sport of Formula One. It is also very entertaining to look at, holding it up close and allowing yourself to be amused with a miniaturized version of the fastest race car on the planet!

15 Years Ago Gundam Model Kits Were Not as Good...
The first three questions from EBay review asks:
(1) "Is it durable" - My answer is no, this is a plastic model kit not some solid figurine. But of course, you already know that. (2) "Do you recommend it?" - Absolutely! It's for anyone who wants to build model kits for the sake of building, and of course, for the fan of the Gundam manga/anime! (3) "Is it entertaining" - Yes! Entertainment begins by looking at the box, building the model, and now -- with its improved articulation, easier to "fantasize" your mobile suit Gundam defending your neighborhood space colony in no time!
It's been a decade and a half since the last time I've built a Gundam model kit and believe you me, I was in complete awe with all the improvements they've done on this newer HG 1/144 kit. Articulation is mind blowing on this one, which I've always thought are reserved for kits of the next higher tier alone. Back then, you really are very limited to pose-ability, so you end up displaying your model "standing only" on its feet. There's barely any sense of "action" with your Gundam which is ironic because this is a model kit figure based on an "action packed" anime/manga.
Anyway, this model is top notch and like I've said my last Gundam build was 15 years ago so my amusement may be over rated or is it? Very impressive plastic material and even without painting it, the number of color separated parts will please even Gunpla newbie builders.

Easy Fix As Long As You Know To Replace Battery
You save money better if you spend less of it right? If your device is still working albeit the battery being the only issue, replacing them is your cheapest and quickest course of action. If you know what to do, this battery will do that job and as an added bonus, tools have already been supplied so you don't have to worry about that. If anything, there's no denying the battery is of a generic brand but so far, for the past week since I got mine, it has been doing the job of the one it replaced.
I only use my device for watching YouTube at the end of the day and from time to time, browsing the internet. The device this battery has been put into is of course obsolete in terms of hardware. However, I know it will still do the job for me and this battery is the only thing needing replacement. :)
