I was really excited to get this stock for my budget 10/22 build. It’s good quality and looks really good once it’s on. But in order to get it to fit properly, you absolutely HAVE to slightly modify it. I know there are reviews says it dropped in perfectly. Maybe it depends on what batch you get your stock from? I don’t know. If you have a dremel tool these slight modifications will be a breeze for you. I do not, so it was quite a pain. Good value. Good material. Just wasn’t a perfect fit for my rifle as is. Hope this helps! Update: not made to last. When taking the top (snap on) section off to clean my rifle; one of the plastic “clips” broke off. SAVE UP FOR A BETTER ONE!
