Top price performance
Quality materials and finish. Installed on an older Isuzu with slightly out of whack frame, Assembly sequence has to go
Remove trim and install carriage bolt inside frame rail using spring tool/wire provided.
Put trim back on
Install hitch to side with carriage bolts and leave bolts loose.
Position and loosely install bolts on the side opposite of carriage bolt.
Snug everything up. I used thread locker to make sure everything will remain in place and jack stands to position the hitch to make lining it up easier.
Once installed it actually stiffens the frame. The model I used clears the under car mounted spare tire but doesn't protrude out so far as to be a shin biter.

Great amp for little money.
1 of 1 found this helpful Set it up with bookshelf speakers in a solar powered shed. Standby current is next to nothing. No problem hooking it via Bluetooth to my cellphone to play my music library. Ear ringing volume @12V with no discernable distortion. Only complaint is you can't use the built-in USB port at the same time as the AUX input which would make my cellphone FM radio easier to use. Even that I may be able to fix by changing my cellphone to charge only USB.

Not as advertised
Failed to operate at advertised output level. I took it apart to see if it was broken and it is just three cellphone sized batteries in a box. Rating on the batteries wired in series like this is not additive. You can see on the picture below the battery is only rated at 1700 mAh. It is a reasonable price and works, just not suitable for the application I wanted it for. I will keep the device and use it for something else.
