What did you expect?
It's a good watch stand, but I found it unusable because my watch strap was too small for it. For the literal dollar I paid for it, I can't complain, but just fair warning that you can't adjust this stand at all if your watch isn't the perfect length. It also feels like it would break very easily, but what did I expect?

A fine figure that outclasses the American counterpart
This is not the first Red Ranger figure I've purchased. It's not even the 100th. I've been collecting this stuff for years, and to be honest, it's hard to get excited about a standard figure. Regardless, this is still a good-looking figure that comes with a decent amount of accessories and feels about as well-made and articulated as the American version of these figures. It stands a little bit taller, but still looks good with the other figures from the American line. It's worth the extra few dollars it may cost because it comes with the frog gun and the giant shuriken (known as the Morpher in the Power Rangers version). Ninja Steel only saw fit to include the sword weapon, which is all kinds of lame. It's a shame Bandai Japan didn't release female figures or the Gold Ranger. I would have snatched those up as well, but I can settle for the American versions.
What would have made it better? A bit of paint on the weapons. I've never been much for lights or sounds, but a little bit of paint creates a more striking-looking figure for display.

Fun Stuff
Great work from Shout! Factory. I just wish there were special features. Maybe an interview with a Power Rangers writer about the challenge of adapting this Sentai. But the video quality is good for a DVD, and the subtitles are good. Such a fun watch!
