Great drive that satisfies.
This drive was purchased to allow me to back up my 3 laptops, which all had a lot of documents, videos, music, etc., so that I could get rid of the bulky and unwieldy Windows 7 in anticipation of losing support on January 2020, and changing everything over to Ubuntu Linux.
The drive is fast and quiet, and certainly got the job done. All the files on the backup integrated perfectly back into Ubuntu.
Great drive that satisfies.

Poor quality control, used to be better.
I bought a 50-spindle of these Sony discs, after having used Verbatim for years. Of the 50, clearly ten, so far, have failed. That's after having burned a disc right before that, that went fine. I'll burn an audio disc, and then the next three failed. Then another success and another two failures.
I just ordered a new 100-spindle of Verbatim, and will never go back again!

This is a great value for a good gig bag. And the price is definitely right :)
