Great Value - 2008 Buick Enclave Struts
2 of 2 found this helpful This seemed like a deal that was too good to be true, but I took a chance and was so pleasantly surprised. These struts were comparable to the OEM ones I replaced. The build quality and finish look great. I used the original springs and borrowed a strut spring compressor from the local autoparts store to do the switchover. I spent several hours changing the struts but saved hundreds of dollars and have the satisfaction of knowing the job was done right. After changing the stuts, I took the car to be aligned and everything is good as new.

Easy Install
1 of 1 found this helpful After a little research I decided to put a Spartan "lunchbox" locker in the front Dana 30 of my 06 TJ. There are several install videos on youtube, so with about 20 minutes of study I was all set. I pulled the axles and removed the diff cover. I followed the instructions and installed the locker. The components seemed well made and stout. I had to fiddle a little to get the locker sections in the carrier. I tried inserting one end first and couldn't get the second half in. I switched and tried the other end first and the second half slipped right in. For about 30 seconds I didn't think it was going to fit and then it just slipped right in. I haven't had a chance to try it 4x4ing, but with normal on-road driving I have not seen any issues. I haven't noticed any locking on turns or any other bad behavior. Hopefully it does the job on the trail, but it may be a few weeks before I get a chance to try it. Also, I went ahead and replaced the axle seals while I had the diff apart and the axles out. Might be something to consider if you are working on an older vehicle.

Well made and fit perfect
Used this on my Jeep TJ with a 4" lift and a trans/t-case drop. The stock linkage was just a little too short between the t-case and the pivot point. This popped in the old grommets and worked perfect. This has a very rigid, heavy duty feel. I only need about a 1/2 inch longer than my stock linkage, but it made all the difference.
