Great little portables
16 of 16 found this helpful I have purchased 50 of these radios. We use 32 and I figured I'd have a bunch of spares when something goes wrong. At the price, these are throw-aways. Two years now and not a single problem with any of the radios. The batteries last through a 12 hour day, they are clear, crisp and easy to use. The channel announcement is very handy, especially as many of our users have headsets on and don't want to pull the radio of their belt and look at it to change channels. The channel 16 scan isn't worth using though. It will occasionally 'sshhtt' or click on other channels as it is scanning, which is annoying to all the users.
These radios are used in a dirty/dusty environment, subject to rain, been dropped, kicked and run over. I've had only one belt clip break in two years.
Great little radios. Easy to program. Highly recommended.

Very nice decoration
The decoration is actually nicer than I expected. I was expecting it to be just rope light on a wire frame. But, I was pleasantly surprised to find a controller that allow about 16 different patterns, controlling the 'merry' and the 'christmas' separately. From steady on to back and forth to fade, to slow or fast flash, double and quad flash, etc. Great product, well worth the money.
