2 NEW Replacement Battery for Apple iPod 7th Gen Classic 80GB 616-0232 200+SOLD

More USB power required to charge this heavy duty battery otherwise iPod will show charged when it's not
Battery works great in iPod Classic 7th generation 80gb; it wasn't charging at first but it is now. This battery has a larger electrical capacity and life than the original battery and the original charger did not have enough power to charge it. I ran the battery down to about half way and then plugged in the original large white apple charger that came with the iPod. The battery showed half charged until I plugged in the sync cable and then it immediately changed and showed it fully charged even though it was not; iPod would not charge. When I used the original 30 pin cord with either an aftermarket 2.1 amp USB charger or my computer, then the battery charged with the normal charging display icon and the iPod charged all the way back up until full. So if your battery doesn't charge after installing it, try a computer or another more robust USB charging source. Took me a while to figure this out so hope it helps someone else.
