Lightweight but fit CF cards well
The plastic on these is a bit lighter than I would like so I'm concerned about how long the hinges will last. However they are made specifically for CF cards so they fit both CF1 and CF2 size cards with no problems closing the case. (These cases do not have extra fittings molded in to hold SD cards etc. - which have always interfered with actually fitting a CF card in a case.) At this price they are well worth trying.

Verve presents "The Kitchen Sink & Back of the 'Fridge Collection"
1 of 1 found this helpful Don't get me wrong - I'm a big Ella Fitzgerald fan - but this is a collection of tracks that will only appeal to the most ardent of fans. Both the quality of the performances and the recordings is uneven. We open with Disk 1, track 1 "Perdido" where the guy running the PA forgets to turn on Ella's microphone (:headbang:) and you wait - and wait - for Ella's voice to fully appear as the microphone volume slowly increases. THAT sets the tone for the entire 3 CD set.
Ella forgets the words in her "Mack The Knife" performance. Amusing to hear once, but not something you will want to revisit often. Many of these are not her best recordings. Which would also explain why several of them have never been released before.
That, and whoever threw this package together... really threw things together. There is no rhyme or reason to the intermix of live and studio recordings - so you bounce back and forth between them in an un-thought out manner. Track to track selection makes no sense either: "Black Coffee" (which is one of the best tracks on here) is followed by "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" Not an album combination you would ever see elsewhere.
There are some nice selections to cherry pick out of this 3 CD set, but as a total package listening experience this is a rather manic mix of live and studio recordings, good to bad audio quality, great and not very good at all performances put together in a nonsensical manner. For fans only.

Just what you want for older Sony digital cameras
I own a Sony DSC-F707 camera - the one with the Carl Zeiss lens. Still a great camera - with really annoying limits on what memory sticks work with it: 128 MB max, non PRO memory sticks only. This 128 MB x 2 bank memory card works with it and gives you the most bang for the buck on a single memory stick. Original Lexar - including the green activity LED on the edge of the card - and I read test all cards and this one tested out 100% ok with no read errors. If you own an older Sony camera this is just what you want.
