A bargain for the money.

I've been through several compressors and never liked the fact that they took some of the dynamics away and affected tone. I use this at the minimal sustain setting and have backed off the input sensitivity a bit. It changes the tone so slightly that you really can't hear the difference. But, what you do hear is an evening out of levels which makes the overall sound much better to the ear. Pinch harmonics come easily and it helps take the rough edge off of overdrives, without taking too much away.
