Pictures were inaccurate. Pop arrived poorly packaged and pop box was heavily damaged with a tear on the front of the box and large dents in the back and bottom. Contacted the seller with pictures and was told "it was slight damage as was noted in the description." If I had seen this amount of damage, I would not have purchased the pop. I asked for a refund and was refused. Will not buy from again!

The buyer emailed and stated the item was damaged, he uploaded pictures to show but it was the same damage already SHOWN in the listing - and demanded a refund. This item had pictures of the damage and was far cheaper than other listing for this same item because of this. I did offer a partial refund in order to be courteous but he simply ignored my offer. Bad Ebay buyer who either didn't look at the pictures when he bought it or is trying to pull a fast one as is common on this site anymore

Very small compared to my 30D

This camera is small and light weight in comparison to the larger frame of my 30D and now 40D which i just received. It takes fine quality photos, just like its larger brothers however it takes and SD card rather than the CF- Which I did not like as I am a fan of the CF. Another feather I didn't care for the the slow 'rapid fire' in sports mode. I became used to the 5 fps of the 30D and 6.5 fps of the 40D so when using this feature on the XS is seemed very slow to the point where I thought it was broken, however it wasn't, Its what a person get used to. Another point this camera like many entry levels was made in Taiwan where larger frame cameras are made in Japan. I am not sure if this affects image or build quality I will let the consumer decide, it is just an observation. Other than this I liked the camera. And I recommend it to anyone looking to get into DSLR's as an entry level beginner model.
