A Really Well Balanced Compilation
I've heard it said that if you went to a Cream concert, you got a few hits plus 30 or 40 minutes of Spoonful. Well, Spoonful is on this album, but it's a studio version. I must say that this is one of the best compilation albums I've come across in years. It is really well balanced and contains everything that you would want and expect for a Cream "best of." I absolutely love this CD; there is not one track that I would describe as filler; fantastic!

A Nod To Some Of The Greats
This album is a bit of a tribute to the likes of Fred McDowell and R L Burnside, also the cotton patch soul blues of Junior Kimbrough. It's a real celebration of the blues from the Hill Country of North Mississippi. Not forgetting a tip of the hat to John Lee Hooker too. The album also features Eric Deaton and Kenny Brown. I don't really know anything about Eric Deaton, but Kenny Brown was taught by R L Burnside, and his slide playing stands out on the album. If you like Mississippi Blues, you will love this CD.

Classic Who
Regarded by many as being one of The Who's best ever live performances, I.O.W festival 1970 doesn't disappoint. There is something for everyone on here. Some early hits, a few covers and a couple of songs from that era that didn't appear on any of the studio albums until later compilations. Plus...Complete Tommy. Turn up the volume, open your windows and introduce the neighbours to The Who...
